The 10kV combined transformer is a device that combines a voltage transformer (PT) and a current transformer (CT). It works based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. It can simultaneously convert high voltage into a standard low voltage (usually 100V, 100/√3V) and high current into a standard low current (usually 5A or 1A) in proportion to connect measuring instruments, relay protection devices and automatic control equipment to achieve power metering and measurement of the power system. The combined transformer has the advantages of small size, light weight, easy installation and low overall cost. It is commonly a three-phase or single-phase combination. It is widely used in rural power grid outdoor substations, small substations of industrial enterprises, high-voltage distribution lines and box-type substations, etc., which can meet the metering and measurement needs of different power systems.
