This type of current transformer adopts epoxy resin casting insulation and is designed for 35 kV outdoor AC power system with rated frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz. Based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, it converts the large current on the primary side into a small current of 1A or 5A on the secondary side according to a fixed transformation ratio, and provides accurate current signals for measuring instruments such as ammeters and power meters, as well as relay protection devices such as overcurrent protection and differential protection, and automatic control equipment, so as to achieve accurate measurement of line current, fault monitoring and system protection. The transformer has excellent insulation performance and can effectively cope with complex outdoor environments such as humidity, salt spray, dirt, and strong ultraviolet rays; it has high mechanical strength and can withstand the impact of severe weather such as wind, sand, and rainstorms; it also has flame retardant and anti-aging properties, stable and reliable operation, and simple maintenance. It is widely used in 35 kV outdoor substations, overhead lines and other places, and is a key equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of power systems.
