Through these actions, TKEC's Maun Project Team has demonstrated the responsibility and dedication of Chinese enterprises, adding warmth and solidity to China-Botswana cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.

To actively fulfill the social responsibilities of a Chinese enterprise and uphold Taikai Group's corporate spirit of "Honesty, Trustworthiness, Pragmatism, Innovation, Pursuit of Excellence, and Social Contribution," TKEC's Maun Project Team in Botswana organized a school uniform donation event at Maun Senior Secondary School on April 15, 2025. This initiative, aimed at supporting local educational development through concrete actions, garnered widespread acclaim from all sectors of Botswana's society.
As a core town in northwestern Botswana, the Maun region has long faced a scarcity of educational resources. With population growth, basic supplies in some schools have become increasingly strained. Upon learning of this challenge, the TKEC Maun Project Team swiftly responded, collaborating closely with school authorities to thoroughly assess students' needs and meticulously prepare the donated supplies.

During the donation ceremony, representatives from Botswana Power Corporation (BPC), school leaders, government officials, and local media were in attendance. Principal Ms. Casallis remarked in her speech, “These uniforms not only address the students' urgent needs but also allow them to feel the warmth and care of a Chinese enterprise, reflecting the profound friendship between our two nations.”

Government representative Mr. Vepaune Moreti praised the initiative, stating, “While advancing high-quality power infrastructure projects, TKEC has consistently prioritized the welfare of local communities. This donation follows their earlier contribution of educational materials for Botswana's ‘T Project,' marking another exemplary act of social responsibility.”

Project Manager Zhang Lei emphasized, “As part of Taikai Group's global team, we remain committed to our mission of ‘Seving Global Power.' Moving forward, our project team will continue to engage in public welfare efforts, including education and environmental protection, to further strengthen the bond between China and Botswana.”

Through these actions, TKEC's Maun Project Team has demonstrated the responsibility and dedication of Chinese enterprises, adding warmth and solidity to China-Botswana cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.
