On January 14, 2025, exciting news came from Ota Substation in Nigeria, with the roar of 132kV circuit breaker closing, a 132kV 125MVA transformer was successfully energized at one time.
This is not only the eighth transformer successfully energized since January 2024 for the WB project in Nigeria, but also an important milestone for the project to realize the smooth energization to six substations within 12 months and the successful energization of 900MVA, which is “the first shot” for the implementation of the company's overseas projects in 2025.
The success of this transformer energization has condensed countless efforts and sweat of the project team. From the careful preparation in the early stage to the rigorous operation in the process of power delivery, every link highlights the professionalism and commitment of the project team. The project team will continue to adhere to the concept of “perfect delivery is the best marketing”, and persistently dedicate itself to doing high-quality projects, so as to write a new brilliant chapter for the project execution in 2025, and to contribute more strength to the company's sustained development in overseas markets.
